Ray Lester Stroud, 83, of Guthrie, OK passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Shawnee, Ok. He was born on June 24, 1927 in Anadarko, OK to Isaac and Anna Stroud. Ray is proceeded in death by his parents; Isaac and Anna Stroud, his first wife; Dorothy Stroud, son; James Melvin Stroud, brother; James Melvin Stroud, and sisters; Edithe, Gladys and Naomi. He is survived by his second wife; Vickie Stroud, son; Isaac Ray and Donelda Stroud, daughter; Treasa Elaine and Garry Brum, and sister; Ruth Strattan. Ray is also survived by his 5 grandsons; Eric, Christopher and Brett Stroud and Scott and Tony Brum as well as 9 great grandchildren, 8 nieces, 12 nephews and many other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Sunny Lane Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Sunny Lane Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011.
