Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 29th at 10:00 am at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK. Pastor Bryan Church, of First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow, will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home in Del City, OK. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28th from 4:00-8:00 PM.
R.C. was born on October 13, 1926 in Morris, OK to Claude Thomas and Wilma Ruby (Finch) Breshears. He was married to Delma (Davis) Breshears for 24 years when she preceded him in death in 1968.
R.C. was an Army Veteran of WWII having served his country as part of the greatest generation.
R.C. worked driving truck for Red Arrow Truck Lines for a number of years and then as a security system installer for American District Telegraph (ADT) for 30 years.
In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and hunting and playing guitar. But, mostly he loved his family. Fiercely. Whether it was by blood...marriage...or the "chosen" kind ...his family was everything to him.
R,C, was preceded in death by his parents Claude Thomas and Wilma (Fiinch) Breshears; wife Delma; daughter Patti; Siblings, Raymond, Cecil, Elmo, Wayne, Lorraine and Wanda.
R.C. is survived by his companion of 43 years, Fumiko Dunlap; his daughter Teresa Scott and husband Gary; grandaughter Amanda Johnson and husband David, great-grandchildren, Adelle, Reagan and Ellis; grandson Zachary Scott; grandaughter Lori Johnson and husband Robert, great-grandsons, Cody and Cale; Lisa Dunlap-Bailey and husband Brock; George Dunlap and wife Joey, grandaughters, Alex, Casey, McKenna and Kylie; and Ken Dunlap. R.C. also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
