

Rebecca (Becky) Sue Hartman Lane Morgan was born September 9th, 1951 at Norman Municipal Hospital to Louis and Pauline Hartman. She has a younger sister, Paula Hartman Taylor. Becky became a Christian in 1961 while attending Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of Del City. Later she along with her family joined Del City First Southern Baptist Church. She has also been an active member of First Baptist Church of Borger, TX, Gamble Street Baptist Church of Ft. Worth, TX, First Baptist Church of Felt, OK, Prairie View Baptist of Elk City, OK, Fisher Baptist of Sand Springs, OK, Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church of Del City, OK, Del City Church of Christ, and First Freewill Baptist Church of OKC. She currently is an active member of Meadowood Baptist Church of Midwest City, OK.
Becky graduated from Paul's Beauty College in August of 1968 and from Del City High School in May of 1969. She married Gerald (Jerry) Lane on August 6, 1971. During their 22 years of marriage, they had four wonderful daughters: Angela Marie, Rana Dawn, Lisa Virginia, and Sheila Gayle. During Jerry and Becky's marriage, Jerry became a minister. Becky served and worked in several different churches as the minister's wife. She always knew she had been called to minister and loved serving and working in the different churches and ministries. Jerry and Becky divorced February 14, 1994. Becky remarried August 18, 2006, to Howard Keith Morgan. Their life together here on earth was cut short April 7, 2007 when Howard lost his battle with cancer. Her marriage was short with Howard but she never forgot their special times and their true love for each other. She still loved him to her death.
Throughout Becky's lifetime, she worked for the FBI and OSBI, 13 different financial institutions, and was secretary for Beckham-Mills Baptist Association and worked for Harrison-Orr Air Conditioning from 2000 until her retirement in 2014. In 1989 and 1990, Becky served as a VISTA volunteer for Northwest Domestic Crisis Services where she received a certificate from President George Bush. She has been a Sunday School, VBS teacher for several different age groups and women's minister. She is a volunteer for Bethel Foundation and an active member in Toastmasters International. While in Toastmasters she became a Competent Leader and an Advanced Communicator Silver. She always loved teaching, leading, sharing, and giving speeches of hope and to help others. She always considered her greatest accomplishment her four daughters and all of her grandchildren.
Becky is survived by her mother Pauline Hartman; daughters Angela and her husband Wade, Rana, Lisa and her husband Micah, and Sheila; grandchildren: Bryan, Katelynn, Kira, Kimber, Kinley, Jonathan, Rachel, Abigail, Rebekah, and an expected great granddaughter Brantley; step-children Piper and Chandler Morgan; sister Paula Taylor; nieces Susan, Cindy, and Sarah; as well as numerous other family members & friends, all of whom she loved and cherished greatly.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Morgan, her father Louis Hartman, and grandparents Charles and Ruby Ritchie and Frank and Estes Hartman.
