Richard Dale Skinner, 78 of Oklahoma City was born March 25, 1933 to Gilbert F. and Artie Mae (Watley) Skinner in Wanette, Oklahoma. Richard retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an Aircraft Mechanic after 33 years of Federal Service. He enjoyed traveling, collecting clocks and cars; enjoyed reading Louis L`Amour westerns and electric trains. Preceding Richard in death were his parents, one son Gilbert Lloyd Skinner, two stepsons Owen Smith and Edward Smith. His wife Rozella of the home, son Ricky Skinner, Jr from Missouri; two daughters Sharon Ham of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Yolanda Eden of El Reno; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren survive him. Two brothers Major Skinner of Georgia and Johnny Skinner of Edmond, Oklahoma survive him also. Funeral services will be 1held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Harvest Assembly of God Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoman.
