Rita was born January 21, 1939 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Elmer and Arrah Ferguson.
She attended Capital Hill High School and graduated in 1957. She met Charles Walker and married September 26, 1958.
They were married nearly 50 years at the time of his death in 2008.
Rita retired from Integris Health South where she was a CPD Technician in Surgical Services.
At that time they moved to Apache, Oklahoma.
Survivors include three sons, James, David of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Thomas and wife Equilla of
Virginia Beach, Virginia and a daughter, Faye and husband Phil of Elgin, Oklahoma, five grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Gene Ferguson.
