Robert Dale Decker, 64, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on December 5, 2023, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born on January 27, 1959, in Enid, Oklahoma. Robert, a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Brianna Hamilton, and son-in-law, Chaudry Hamilton, along with his grandsons, River and Ronin. He is also survived by his daughter, Alyssa Medaris-Ferguson, and son-in-law, Robert Ferguson, as well as his granddaughters, Kayla and Alannah. Robert is also survived by his son, Christopher Medaris, and granddaughters, Maliceth and Amelia. He is also survived by his son, Joshua Medaris, and granddaughter, Lilia. Robert is also survived by his nieces that he raised, Shantoyia Decker, Robbie Decker, Cherri Decker, and Clarrisa Decker. Robert is also survived by multiple brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Decker, his daughter, Tequila Brown, his parents, Robbie Decker and Earl Decker, and multiple sisters and brothers.
Robert attended Moton High School in Taft, Oklahoma. After completing his education, he proudly served in the US Army, first in the armory before finding his passion in the kitchen.
Robert’s most enjoyed going to the lake, searching for treasures and rose rocks, catching fish and grilling with family. Robert loved reading westerns and science fiction novels. His favorite series was the Last Mountain Man series by William W. Johnstone. Robert enjoyed drawing and wood burning, especially portraits and animals. He was always singing and watching movies when time allowed. He also found cooking as his way of expressing his love and appreciation for family. Some of his most notable dishes being fried rice, bow tie pasta, and his signature sweet potato pie.
