Robert Allen Herrin

Robert Allen Herrin a father and a grandfather passed away on November 5, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born October 8, 1952 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jack Walton and Bessie Helen Lucky. Robert was married to Delora Bustillo Herrin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Walton and Bessie Helen Lackey; James, Charles, and Virgil. Robert survived by one brother Curtis and wife Debbie, a sister Maxine and husband Mike Jacobs; daughter Kimberly Herrin, stepson Wayne Ceniza and wife Christine Ceniza; and grandchildren; Isaac Jayson Herrin, Joseph Fredrick St. John and Jacob William Baugh.

Robert served in the Air Force for 14 years as a Radio Repairman. He was employed at Loomis Fargo for 30 years as a Head Mechanic. He loves to go fishing with friends and wife Delora. He could spend an entire day fishing. He loves sports and a big OSU fan which sister in law, Rhoda, called him “ he bleeds orange”. He loved OSU football and basketball and never missed watching the games on TV. He was into car racing and went to lots of car shows. For his past time, he made boats made of strings. He was the favorite uncle of so many nieces and nephews.

Robert will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A memorial service will occur Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home.
