Grandpa Hurt was a wonderful man, always made me feel like a true part of the family. He will always be in my heart and I will never let his great grandsons forget him, and hope that he will watch over them and guide them.

Growing up, us grand kids knew to never mess with power cords, never clog up the toilet, and dont touch the remotes. Grandpa had his ways, but it was always because he loved us so very much. I will never forget the times he would grab my hand to just tell me he loves me or the jab at the back of my leg with his cane, which was always followed by his child like grin. I am the person AND BOWLER I am today because of this strong wonderful man. You have left a legacy that we can only hope to match. Love you forever grumps, Baby dolly

Uncle Robert was like my dad in some ways, ornery yet charming, tough on the outside but a sentimental softie on the inside. I am so sorry for your loss - Sending thoughts, prayers and love to you all.
