He enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and watching westerns. Robert loved working, as he was a truck driver, later owning his own company, and lastly working for Highland Dairy up until last year.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Evelyn Marie (Weyrich) Pierce; second wife, Helen Pierce; and an infant daughter, Brenda. Survivors include his children, Deborah Penrod, Robert Pierce (Kim), Steve Pierce (Tammy); Grandchildren, Krisstee, Deanna, Stephen, Lyndsey, Cameron, Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Steven, Paris, Taylor and Ryan.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Sooner East Church of Christ. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Sappington Chapel Cemetery, Cowden, OK.
