Robert was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, to Glen and Ruth Williams. After graduation from Cheyenne High School, he attended Sayre Jr. College on a baseball scholarship, and then later attended Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, on a baseball scholarship. While serving in the U. S. Army, he was stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. Bob worked as a forklift operator at a grocery warehouse.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Linda Lekawski of Oklahoma City, daughter in law, Nicole Flick and granddaughter, Kylie Williams, of Bridge Creek, OK, and grandson, Camden Williams of Edmond OK. Also survived by step sister, Shirley Allen of Elk City, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Scott and Craig. Bob was an avid sports fan. He coached Little League and American Legion baseball in Tuttle, Oklahoma for several years. He was also an avid golfer. No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum in his memory and in honor of Scott D. Williams is suggested.
