Rogelio Esquivel

Rogelio “Roy” Esquivel of Oklahoma City, OK went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2022 at the age of 37. He was born on March 16, 1984 in Oklahoma City to Geronimo Esquivel and Victoria Vasquez De Esquivel.

Roy enjoyed dancing, playing soccer, and his faith was important to him. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his father, Geronimo Esquivel; ex-wife M. Christina Mata; children, Rogelio Esquivel Jr, Jesus S. Esquivel, Eric A. Esquivel, and Guadalupe Julie Esquivel; brother, Geronimo Esquivel Jr.; sisters, Eva Ortiz, Elsa Carrion, and Lorena Esquivel; 3 nieces and 9 nephews.

Shortly after Rogelio’s passing, his mother, Victoria Vasquez De Esquivel, joined Roy in his Heavenly home at the age of 74. Both Victoria and Rogelio will be greatly missed by their family and friends.

Visitation for Roy and Victoria will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 5 pm-8pm and Saturday, February 12, from 12pm - 5pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home located at 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK.

Services for Rogelio and Victoria will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church located at 1125 S. Walker Ave, OKC with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City.
