Ronnie retired as a mechanic from TAFB following a heart ailment. On August 30, 2000 he received a great gift, a heart which prolonged his life for five more years.
Ronnie loved restoring classic cars. Together with family and friends he restored several classics.
Ronald was preceeded in death by three daughters, Lori Ann Treadway and Husband Ron of Del City, Oklahoma, Alicia Ann Shive and husband Stephen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Julie Ann Nieves and husband Stanton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Six grandsons, Charles Tanner Nieves of OKC, Ronald John Robert Treadway of Del City, Austin Paul Nieves of OKC, Nicholas Thorton of Del City, Zachary Treadway of Del City and Ethan Douglas Shive of OKC. One granddaughter, Kylee Rae Shive of OKC. A nephew, Charles Randall Hays of OKC.
Funeral services were held at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home and Chapel in Del City, Oklahoma on May 12, 2005 at 11:00 am. The interment to follow at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
