Hi mom, I love and miss you so very much.  Every day I see you at home thru the pictures on the wall and the memories that were made in this house, how they will always remain here.  I can only thank you for allowing me to care for you in which I call the most precious 6 wks of my life. No one or nothing can ever take that away from me. You have given me so much through my life and you continue to keep giving. The things that you and I talked about those last few wks will always be with me, in my heart and mind. You are and have always been very special to me. I love you mom and miss you so very much.

My dearest mother. Although there were times that I was onry, I've loved, and will continue to love you with all my heart. I was so proud of you when you received your GED to go to school and get a job truckdriving. You and dad both got to see America together. That was a real accomplishment for someone to do in their 50's. I love you so much that I am glad that you now get to spend your time with GOD, dad, and my oldest sister. Well I could go on writing the numerous things that you did that helped me in my decision making process, but there is not alot of time or space to write them down. I know that your not hurting any more. And I think that is the greatest gift that GOD could give you. With all of my love.

Ms Ruby, I know you are ok.  Your good friend Tawauna, still speaks of you often.  We both will be wishing you a Happy New Year tonight.  Hope you have a party in Heaven tonight with your family.  Please include my loved ones and know that your family is missing you also.  It just isn't the same when I pass your home and you aren't on the porch waving at me.  Miss ya too girl.  Happy New Year

My name is Kay Bailey and I am a neighbor living 6 houses down on the other side of the street.  I would go and visit with Ms. Ruby and we would sit out on her front porch and drink tea and smoke cigarettes or maybe her back porch and do the same.  All the while she would be jumping from one story to the next never failing to mention one or two of her family members each time and her place in the country.

I would see her sitting on the grass painting her bird fountain, or on her porch painting it.  I sought her advice on pruning my shrubs and she gave me the same advice as she did Tawauna to cut them short enough so nobody could be hiding behind them.

Heaven is getting quite a "hoot".  She will keep them in stitches there. Ms. Ruby, you take time out to look for my late husband Richard as he will certainly enjoy and appreciate your humor also.  I am glad that she again, is healthy and vibrant.  God Bless you Miss Ruby, and thanks for the moments you shared with me.

she was the best person to share a birthday with wish i could be there!!!!!! Jodi,Kennedie and I send our best wishes out to the rest of the family and will never forget all the times together at christmas with everyone packed into grandma and grandpa's house for christmas.

the one thing i will miss most about her is her smile.. she had the most gorgeous smile...one thing that i will always remember she taught me was always live your life to the fullest.. i love you grandma and will always miss you..till we meet again..see ya later
