She truly was a coal miner’s daughter. She came to Oklahoma after she graduated from high school. She was employed at Carl Albert High School in the counseling office for 25 years. She loved watching and participating in sports of all kinds. She also enjoyed fishing and gospel music.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Ethel Wilson, and brothers Woodrow Wilson and Fred Wilson. Survivors include her three children: Sherri Brown, Buddy Hunter and Ellen West; six grandchildren: Amy Fullbright, Samantha Brown, Michelle Hunter, Matt Hunter, Sarah West and Jamie West. Brothers: James Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Frank Wilson and sisters: Lola Gary, and Edith Charles along with a host of other family and friends.
Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Meadowood Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City.
