Ruth Christine Myers, 81, of Midwest City, OK passed away April 21, 2012. She was born April 28, 1930 to Charles Edward Vail and Flora Belle Guest in Pueblo, CO. She married Kenneth Wayne Myers September 18, 1964 in Oklahoma City. Ruth worked at Tinker Air Force Base and retired in 1993. She loved serving people and her Lord Jesus Christ, spending time with her family, especially her 3 grandchildren and serving her church, Country Estates Baptist, where she was a member for over 40 years. Ruth is survived by her husband Ken, son Phillip Myers and wife Tracy of Toronto, Canada, 3 grandchildren; Trent, Hayley and Cale. She is preceded in death by her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 23, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Country Estates Baptist Church, Midwest City, OK with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
