Uncle Sammy,
For the last 7-8 years I had the privilege to get to know you and I am so blessed that I did. When I first met you I had the feeling that you might be a little ornery, and as I got to know you I found out you were. We had a special relationship together, you gave me a hard time (jokingly) and I gave you one back. We had a lot of good times together. I loved our road trips to Lake Eufaula with you. I especially loved our Sunday afternoons when we brought lunch over and spent time there. I know you and Justin also had a special relationship. Every time we came over and he wasn't with us you would ask where he was. We all enjoyed hearing the stories of your old days spelunking. Couldn't believe some of the things you did. We will miss you forever and especially our Sundays together. And we promise you, your special little princess Rosie will be taken care of. We love you and will see you again. Save a place for us.
Love you

Robert Driskell

Uncle Sammy was a big man with a big personality and a big heart. He is whole again and reunited with his parents, his sister, and his Lord. We will miss him here, but we will see him again. We love you Uncle Sammy. "Kimosabi".

Sam was the kind of man who was always there to help, to crack a joke, or begin a debate. That little house that held Sam and Margaret, for most of my life, will forever look lonely to me. God Speed my friend, and be good.
