Estella Mae Penland, 88, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born May 14, 1922 in Capron, OK, to Walter Scott and Cora Mary (McArthur) Wilcox. Stella worked as a bookkeeper for family’s acoustic ceiling business. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen Dale Penland and children, Donald Eugene Linfoot and Joyce Marlene Hamlin; and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Nordquist, and her husband, John; five grandchildren: Ava Renee Wells, Robin Joy Ray, Ginger Diane Findley, Donald Alan Little and Charles Shell Nordquist; eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum in Oklahoma City.
