Steven Michael Hoffpauir

April 16, 1962May 9, 2021

Steven Michael Hoffpauir is at peace now after suddenly passing away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Steve was born on April 16, 1962, to Royce and Charlene Hoffpauir. At that time, the family lived in Midwest City, Oklahoma and later moved to Del City, Oklahoma where Steve attended Del City High School. Shortly after high school, he joined the US Navy, graduated from the Naval Construction Training Center and served his country proudly. Steve’s love of camping and fishing began on summer family trips to the Chickasaw National Park in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He is survived by his sister Pam Anderson whose fondest memories with Steve are of roaming the park, riding bikes, hiking the trails, and swimming in the cold natural springs every summer. Steve was a talented artist who loved drawing pictures and writing stories for his niece Amanda when she was young and learning to read. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Sara Timberlake of Texas. He will also be remembered by his brother-in-law Jim, his niece Kristin and nephew Matt, and their families. Although Steve lived in many parts of the US during his lifetime, he returned to Del City and spent his last years with long-time love and partner Sheryl Hitt. The family is planning a memorial service to remember Steve and a life that ended too soon.
