Steven Foster Lambert, age 70 of Del City, Oklahoma, was born on February 13, 1950 to Donald Gene Lambert and Virginia Marie (Hickman) Lambert in Alexander City, Alabama. He passed from this earth on February 17, 2020. Steve graduated from Del City High School in 1969. Shortly after graduation, he was drafted to the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. Steve is survived by his brother Donald Ray Lambert and his sister Sharon Marie Douglas. Steve has two children, his son, Steven Wayne Lambert and daughter, Stephanie Ann Colestock and son in law Michael Colestock. He has one grandchild, Tyler Blake Casey and wife Cheyenne Casey and his great grandson Leighton Casey. Steve worked as a cross country truck driver for several years where he hit over a million miles twice before retiring. He then went to work for the Department of Human Services where he was a Logistics Manger in the warehouse. He retired after 20 years of service to the State of Oklahoma. Steve was an avid NASCAR fan, never missing a race. His driver, of course, was none other than Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Steve also loved classic cars. He owned and rebuilt several in his day from a 57 Chevy, 59 Impala, 1960 Ford F100 pickup, 62 T-bird, 63 Corvette, 69 Corvette Stingray, 69 Mustang Fastback, 72 Camaro, and 78 El Camino just to name a few. Steve enjoyed living life to the fullest but most of all he loved his family and we all look forward to the day we see each other again. He will be missed by his family, extended family and many friends.
