Susan Dee Maywood, age 67, passed away on February 6, 2024 at Integris Hospice House where she received great care and was surrounded by several of her immediate family members. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma on June 26, 1956 to parents Anthony “Tony” Ray Arno and Audrey Louise Arno. Susan was a cook at Steak and Ale then later became a Maintenance Parts Manager at U.S. Tobacco Company. She moved from Tennessee to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in October of 2018 to be closer to her immediate family. Susan was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in November of 2023. She will be remembered as someone who always had an ear to listen and was willing to talk with anyone. Susan would offer plenty of humor to keep the mood lifted even until the end of her passing. She is survived by her older sister Ilene Bailey and older brother James "Jake" Maywood. Susan was much loved and will be greatly missed.
