Terry Lee Wilson born 12/29/1960 passed peacefully in his home 10/22/2026. First a son, grandson, big brother, husband, father and finally a grandfather. Attended Waukomis Junior High and High School. Then continued education graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University. Terry loved water skiing, basketball, golf and playing football at Waukomis School. Besides sports he loved historic automobiles and NASCAR Racing. His love for music created his first rock-n-roll band at Waukomis High School. To this day the band has stayed in touch. After graduating from OBU he was a pastor for many years. Terry would drive all over Oklahoma visiting churches and families during this time. Terry would talk for hours about the grace of God. To the extent during Sermons, he would have to be reminded “time up”. He never met a stranger. When meeting someone new that person would leave thinking they just spent the afternoon with their best friend. He loved his family with such passion. He cherished his children Nicholas and Stacie, then becoming a grandfather was a proud moment. In recent years he helped his sisters Shelly and Tammy Jo take care of their mother Betty Jo and dad Rick Luttrell during their illness and passing. He loved life and always tried to have fun and enjoy every moment. Terry was always there, whatever you needed, whatever time of day, he would come running. Sometimes when it was not necessary.
There is no more worry, no more illness, no more pain, no regret and most of all no more insulin.
Terry waited his whole life for God to call him home.
Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but this gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
