

Thadise enjoyed RVing and had traveled to 40 of the 50 states. She was a world traveler, an amazing seamstress, and loved her family with all her heart. She devoted her spare time to the Hugs Project, making sure that American service members knew that they are loved and appreciated by those who remain at home enjoying the freedom they provide.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Valerie Stursa; sisters, Eloise Holick and Betty Wyant. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Lewis Hoffman, Sr.; children, Vicki Roach and husband, Steve, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Deborah Patton of Mount Savage, MD, Lewis Hoffman, Jr. and wife, Peri of Moore, OK; sisters, Janis Huddleston of Hollister, CA and Toni Carver and husband, Mike of Burden, KS; and brother, Terry Huddleston and wife Cindy, of Keller, TX; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, followed by general visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
