Tom Elen Parker, Jr, "Son" 93, of Oklahoma City, passed away February 3, 2019 in Midwest City. He was born March 27, 1925 in Whitesboro, Texas, the son of Tom Sr. and Myra (Long) Parker. Tom was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family telling stories. He never met a stranger and enjoyed helping others. Tom was preceded in death by his wife Jennie; son, Allan Ray Parker and sisters, Georgia Faye Adkisson-Curry, Nadine Thompson and Norma Cook. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rickie and Synthia Parker of Choctaw; sister, Francis Helm of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Melody May Parker of Wynnewood, Stacie Sanders of Harrah, Renelle Freeman of Jones; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 2pm at Sunny Lane Cemetery
