Mrs. Velda Sissy Mae Carson Sydenstricker

Velda was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed the time spent with her husband, Bill, on the road. She enjoyed collecting carousels; and she had a green thumb which led to her spending time in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting, owls, and peeps candies.

Velda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Carson, Kenny Davenport and John Curry. Survivors include her loving husband, William “Bill”; children, Angela Norris, Randy Houston (Donna), Deanna Lynn Nauden (Charles), Keith Sydenstricker (Carissa); grandchildren, Dustin Parratt (Deidre), Brandon and Derrick Parratt, Nikki Baker (Bobby), Jeffrey, Abby and Hailey Houston, Skylor Bates, Gleniel and Penielope Nauden, Cody and Kelsey Sydenstricker; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Alyssa, Makayla, Meagan Parratt, Malachai Turner, Christian Paratt, Aubrey and Ella Baker; siblings, Debbie June (Larry), Crystal Gilreath, Ronnie Davenport, and Gary Wayne Carson.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
