Verline H. McGuire, 88 of Oklahoma City, OK passed away March 6, 2015. She was born September 26, 1926 in Ada, OK to Charles Franklin Hopkins and Myrtle (Hobbs) Hopkins. Verline married Hershall D. McGuire February 14, 1942 in Tupelo, OK. She is survived by her son, Mike L. McGuire and wife Jan; grandchildren, Melissa A. (McGuire) McGavock, Michael L. McGuire, II, Michelle Hightower, Kelly Flores, and Jennifer Dunford; great grandchildren, Trent A. McGuire, Mason L. McGuire, Adyson L. McGavock, Michael D. Lafferty, Justin T. Dunford, and Cody A. Dunford; siblings, Ellen Hopkins, Yvonne Jones, Joyce Robbins, Charles Hopkins and Gerald Hopkins. Verline is preceded in death by her husband Hershall, daughters, Helen Louise (Mullnix) Reynolds and Norma Jean Milam, grandsons, Jeffery Michael Mullnix and Timothy Allen Mullnix, her parents, and four sisters, Inez, Teen, Charlene, and Nig. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Southside Assembly of God Church with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
