He is survived by his father; Thurman; sister, Mitzi; brother, Brad; children, Tasha, VJ, Virgil; and five grandchildren whom he adored. Vernon was a good man who left us far too soon. He will be forever missed by everyone who knew him. A funeral service will be held on March 13th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City, Oklahoma. Anyone is welcome to come pay his or her respects to Vernon Joe Davis.
