Wayne Elton West

Wayne was born on February 4, 1957 in Muldrow, OK to Stanley Lee and Jimmie Ann West. He was known for his quiet and witty sense of humor, his love for sports and will be remembered for his infectious laugh and kindness.

Throughout his life, Wayne enjoyed watching football and basketball. He loved to play dominoes and card games, and loved going fishing. He began working as a young man followed by the start of his career at Balon that began in August of 1990 as an Assemblyman until he was promoted, earned and was appointed to the position as a Lead in the Machine Shop and held that position until he retired from Balon in August of 2022 with 32 Years of dedicated service that spanned his career and various positions held.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are: His dedicated wife and best friend, Phelecia West, Step-Daughters: Amber Brown, Courtney Harris and Treasyre Harris, of Midwest City. Four Step-Grandchildren, Skylah Brown, Amani Brown, Reign Harris and Evangeline Carra, also of Midwest City. His Father, Stanley Lee West (spouse Bernadine) of Grand Prairie, TX. His three Brothers, Stanley West, Jr., Don West, both of Muldrow, OK, Kendall West (spouse Chris) of Oklahoma City, OK, and a host of Aunts, Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Uncles, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Jimmie Ann West, Brother, Gerald G. Johnson, a Sister, Mossie West Sanders and Brother, Brian B. West.

Family and friends are encouraged to continue to pray for Wayne’s family, loved ones and to celebrate his life with fond memories.

Wayne will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on September 10, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
