William “Bill” Warren Morton, 80, of Oklahoma City, passed away December 24, 2013. He was born January 27, 1933 in Ilion, New York to Ray Fuller Morton and Lena Louisa (Bennett) Morton. Bill graduated from Ilion High School, after graduating he entered Hobart College in Geneva, New York, where he became Little All American and Captain of Hobart College football team. In 2002 he was inducted in the Hobart College Football Hall of Fame.
He graduated from Hobart in 1955, one year before graduating he married his sweetheart JoAnn Keller. In 1956 he entered the United States Air Force and retired in 1981 as a Lt. Colonel.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn of 59 years; son, Scott Morton and wife Judy of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Kelly Long of Yukon, OK; five grandchildren: Sarah Medellin and Husband Joe, Laura Morton, Matthew Long and wife Elizabeth, Daniel Morton, and Adam Long, and five great-grandchildren.
Family will be receiving friends and family for visitation from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2013, at Bill Eisenhour S.E. Funeral Home, Del City, OK.
