William Archie Parks (Bill) past away Thurs, Jan. 2nd at St. Anthony hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Born in Oklahoma City, July 14, 1930. He was the youngest son of Myrtle Parks. Bill is best remembered as a mobile home contractor in the 1970's and 80's. Known as "Frog", his CB handle. Bill set up many homes around Everett WA, that are still in use today. In the 60's Bill owned a gas station in Wenatchee WA and a motorcycle shop in Arizona. In Bill's younger years he was a nurse in Oklahoma City and spent some time in the US Army at the end of WWII. Just a kid, Bill attended summer school so he could graduate early and enlist before he was 18.
Bill returned to his home town in 1997 where he became a long term resident at Shartell Towers and attended Dumas Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Bill is survived by his wife Judy Hoffman, four sons David, Steven, Ross and Paul as well as many grand and great grandchildren.
Services will be held 1pm Fri Jan 10th at Sunny Lane Funeral Home in Del City, OK.
