Wilma Louise Brown

Wilma Louise Brown born September 6, 1925 to Preston and Mary (McClelland) Dowis in Sheridan, Missouri went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 24, 2010 after a long illness. Wilma married Bobby G. Brown and they celebrated 52 years of marriage. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She always went to bat for her children and looked for the good in everything. She loved her church, had a lot of faith and was a great witness. She never met a stranger, she loved to talk and visit and before the conversation was finished she would ask them if they were saved. She had a beautiful voice and her face would light up when she would dance with Bobby. She will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her parents and daugther in law Debbie Wyman. Survived by husband & caregiver, Bob Brown; children, Terry Wyman, Tim Witte & wife Pam, Yukon; Chuck Witte & wife Melinda, OKC; & Vicki Brown, Norman. Grandchildren: Tony Wyman, Shawna Witte, Justin Witte, Bethany Rhones, Victoria Witte, Courtney Witte, Andrew Witte & Cody Peasel; 7 great grandchidren. Also survived by sisters: Faye Reynolds, Jean O'Brien Yuma, AZ; Francis Showers, Milwaukee, OR, JoAnn Padgett, Kansas City, KS & brother Larry Dowis, Sheridan, Missouri. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at South Lindsay Baptist Church with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
