Wilma Alieen Mische Sunderland, 92, joined her Heavenly Father on May 5, 2020. She was born in Moundville, Missouri on September 25, 1927 to Ila L. Fleming Mische and Ben S. Mische. She married the love of her life, John Henry Sunderland Jr. on April 6, 1947. Wilma was an active member of Heavenly Heights Southern Baptist Church for more than 60 years serving in various role including: Sunday School teacher, Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), Bible School Director, and the Quilting Group distributing quilts to the elderly. She loved her God, country, family, and friends.
Wilma is survived by her four children, Karen & (Bob) Herzer, Rainey & (Mike) Turney, Jerry Sunderland, Janet & (Brad) Courtney, and numerous grand and great grandchildren.
