Yvonne Berniece Baldwin

was born October 5, 1929, in Washington, OK, to George F. and Dorothy M. McNabb. She grew up in the Cyril/Cement area and graduated from Cyril High School in 1947. She attended the St. Anthony School of Nursing and became an LPN. Yvonne married Elmer Moody, Jr., on August 14, 1965. She worked at Mauldin, Yates, and Wheeler Clinic in Oklahoma City as the Office Manager. She retired after 25 years on the day her first granddaughter was born. She was a perpetual member and Past Matron of Del City Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and served as Grand Marshal for Oklahoma in 1993. She was Mother Advisor of the Del City Rainbow Assembly for several years in the mid 80’s to early 90’s and was a DeMolay “Mom”. She was active with the band parents for Kerr Jr. High and Del City High Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer, and her brothers Billy, Dean and Gene. She married Leonard Baldwin in 2005. She is survived by her husband of the home, her daughter and son-in-law, Vonda and David Epperly of Oklahoma City; step-daughters, Cheryl Baldwin of Oklahoma City, and Patricia and her husband, William Muncy of Geronimo, OK. Her grandchildren, who were the light of her life – Tyler Finnie, Erin and Ellen Epperly, Megan, Amanda and Sarah Muncy and one great-grandchild, Lucas Ohr; her brother Kenneth McNabb and his wife Dorothy of Geronimo, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends, also survive her.
