Alvin Paul Bourque Sr.

Alvin was employed with Benny G’s Feed Store in Delcambre (formerly T & L) for over 37 years. He also worked as a commercial shrimper and with many sugar cane farmers in Iberia Parish.

He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing when he had the opportunity. But Alvin’s greatest love was his family. He leaves behind many wonderful memories that will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Alvin is survived by his four children, Victoria Bourque, Alvin Paul Bourque, Jr. and his wife Renee, Amy Bourque, and Constance Renee Bourque; eight grandchildren, Mika Duhon, Santos Pulido, Emily Bourque, Benjamin Bourque, Nicholas Bourque, Alex Pourciaux, Landon Pourciaux, and Brianna Bourque; his brothers and sisters, Charles Bourque (Sherry), Theresa Laviolette (Lonnie), Mary Hebert (John), Riley Bourque, Sandra Bourque, Rickey Bourque, Mark Bourque (Melanie), and Calvin Bourque (Sybil); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor J. and Edith Domingue Bourque; two grandchildren, Jordan and Brandon Bourque; a brother, Maurice Bourque; and sisters, Gloria Bourque and Delores Gaspard.
