Thank you Amanda for all of the joy , laughter, and memories that you brought to my life. I really could write a book , but I will just say that you were 
always the life of the party and a day around you was always so fun-filled.
Here we are three weeks after you left us, and it is still hard to imagine that you are not physically here . I can still see your face, your expressions, your body language just as it was the last time we were together. What a blessing for us to share in those final moments. Our friendship was so unique. 
Even though life got busy we always picked up where we left off just like best friends. 
     The last year was hard on you,  I know.   The fear, the heartbreak, and the emotions , but everytime I spoke to you, you sounded stronger than ever. You were such a trooper and I admired you for that. You lived your last days to the fullest.   I remember our last conversation only 2 days before you left us. When we hung up , you said "I love you Mysti Kaye." Those words I will always treasure. Almost like you were trying to say your final goodbye.
Just know that our memories I will always treasure and our friendship even more. Thank you for always being YOU. 
  I hope that Marley, Bella , and Berkley can one day make their friends smile and laugh as much as you have  for me. I will continue to pray for your girls , Catherine, and all of your loved ones.
     The world we live in only prepares us for our final resting place. Although you were called home way to soon, we must not question. I love you and I know that heaven gained an Angel. Fly High Sister . I will always be your buddy Row.......

To the family of Amanda Strother when I read the newpaper the first thing caught my eyes were her name in the obituary I was in a state of shock. I meet Amanda when she worked at Hopkins St. Elem she taught my grandson Chamaje Barideaux in first grade. She was compassionate, loving, caring, sweet, kind, the list can go on and on.Then her and I built a relationship and she would come visit. My deepest sympathy to the family. R.I.P YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED. MUCH LOVE.

Mandy, you will be missed by all who knew and loved you. You always had a smile on your face and a good story or joke to tell. Your laugh was infectious and you always had the rest of us crying with laughter. You were a great daughter, mother, and friend. We had so many good times together, you will be missed my friend. Don't worry, we will take care of your wonderful mom Ms. Cat and your beautiful girls Marley, Bella, and Berkeley. We love and miss you Mandy. Rest easy sista, until we meet again! Where do I begin?  I still can't believe you are gone.  I will cherish all of our memories.  The many talks we had.  You were always there to listen to the many struggles I had and always made time to cut up with the girls and keep us giggling.  Even when you were down you found light and hope and did silly things to make it through.  I will love you forever.  I will continue to share your love with your Mom and your girls. I am glad I had the opportunity to met and worked with you for several years. You would always have a smile on your face no matter what the situation was and were always ready to cooperate and work well with your coworkers. You will be deeply missed.

Mandy, over the last week I've sat here daily thinking about how many laughs you and you and Mysti together gave me as kids growing up. The laughs continued through your adult yrs when we would meet up, the latest one being a few months ago when you came out to lunch with me, Monica, Mysti and Bailey. Non stop laughter. Your sickness wasn't a factor for you that day. You were shining with humor with everything that came out of your mouth including the unfortunate and famous "mr Bobbitt" and his detached body part.  I will be forever grateful that we all spent that time together. We will always be here for your Mom and your precious girls so R I P sweet lady. You are loved and will be missed

Mandy didn't just enter a classroom, plop her books on the desk, and sit down. She was a presence in herself. She could read me like a book, and knew exactly what to say to change a rough day into sunshine. May she rest in peace, and may we always keep her memory strong.

My girl, you will definately be missed by me Madison and Jacob. I want to thank you and maw maw so much for helping me out  however yall could, I have been so blessed to be your friend in these last few years.I promise to help take care of the girls as best I can but you know i will love them just as you would. I will never forget all the late night bathroom conversations and back massages,  to help you get through an anxious night, or just fiending for a cigarette break from all our babies, or having serious anxiety bc i had some new furry small creature that you were afreaid of. I had forgot but Marley reminded me of the time you called me to say you were dressed in a black trench coat and hat and wanted to warn me you were coming over to knock on door and scare the kids. I was so happy that you felt good enough to be playing around and it was priceless.  There is also the time we changed the oil and air filter on your car. After we fought to figure out the the filter wrench that another friend blessed us with, we went drive down Bayou Tigre like you were in Nascar, laughing our butts off like we didn't have a care in the world. Thank you for all of the love life counseling sessions that we had, I am stronger as a mother, a friend, and as a woman because you were just you, and rubbed off on me in good ways. Mandy you will be missed deeply! So glad that you were apart of our family.  The girls will be taken care of by all of us and they will get through this.  You always made us laugh each time you came by especially all the jokes you told. My mom(Poochie) was glad that she was able to talk and spend time with you and the girls on that Saturday. Mandy was such a funny person! She always made us laugh when dropping off or picking up the kids at school. She was such a great mentor to us, always giving us tips when it came down to teaching the kids. She often donated teaching supplies to us as well. Such a beautiful soul! She will be missed greatly!

I remember our first time going to camp at Toledo Bend. We arrived as a acquaintances and left as friends knowing each others secrets and fears that no one else ever knew. That was a fun week! You helped me get over a painful, crushing shyness that had affected all my personal relationships and potential friendships. I don't think you ever knew how much your support and love helped me that week. I never properly thanked you because I didn't realize the scope of what you had done for me until I was an adult with my own children. Your kids are very lucky to have had you, even if yall time together was cut short. Like our short week together, your positive impact on many lives will be your legacy.

I'm so sorry you all are going through this difficult time. Mandy was grateful to have a mother like you to take care of her and those girls. I will always remember us riding around chasing Sa-Sam around. He was definitely the love of her life. LOL Anytime we were around Mandy she always had us laughing. Prayers for all of you
