Betty Leblanc Thibodeaux

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Carroll Thibodeaux, the former Betty LeBlanc, age 77, at 11:00 am on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will be the celebrant for the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Thibodeaux passed away at 1:30 am on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, she loved to read, decorate, shop and garden. She was a very active person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Thibodeaux is survived by her children, Vickie Guidry of Delcambre; Sandy T. Coleman and Tracy Thibodeaux both of Orlando, FL; Benny Thibodeaux, Tim Thibodeaux and Julie Boudreaux all of Erath and Spence Thibodeaux of Youngsville; 17 grandchildren, Chris Guidry; Casey Guidry; Jamie Coleman; Annie Coleman; Nicole Coleman; Courtney Thibodeaux; Brooks Thibodeaux; Brittlyn Thibodeaux; Judd Thibodeaux; Nicholas Boudreaux; Tyler Boudreaux; Micah Boudreaux; Trevor Champagne; Tristan Champagne; Tucker Jensen; Tanner Jensen and Austin Thibodeaux; five great grandchildren, Cade Guidry; Kenlie Coleman; Kennedy Thibodeaux; Cowyn Thibodeaux and Carter Champagne. She is also survived by her mother, Annie LeBlanc; one sister, Rebecca LeBlanc of Delcambre and two brothers, Kurt LeBlanc and Melvin “Bubba” LeBlanc all of Delcambre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Thibodeaux and her father, Sidney J. LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Casey Guidry, Brooks Thibodeaux, Nicholas Boudreaux, Judd Thibodeaux, Tyler Boudreaux, Micah Boudreaux, Trevor Champagne and Tristan Champagne.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tucker Jensen, Tanner Jensen, Austin Thibodeaux, Chris Guidry and Cade Guidry.
