Born on October 15, 1933, in Iberia Parish to the late Albert Relis and Laurie Falgout Delcambre. Beverly lived a life rich with warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she loved.She began her professional journey at McIlhenny Company, where she dedicated many years of hard work and friendship. Later in life, she brought her welcoming spirit to the Bank of Erath, where she continued to be a familiar and comforting presence in her community.
Beverly had a heart for adventure and a deep love for travel, which she shared with her beloved husband, James Hayward Trahan. Together, they explored the country, making cherished memories as members of the Good Sam’s Club. Their travels were filled with laughter, new friendships, and stories that Beverly would recount with a sparkle in her eye.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Pam Trahan and husband Gregory; Ann Simon and husband Burt; two sons, Kimble Trahan and Jan Trahan and wife Paula; eleven grandchildren, Jared Trahan, Jayme Trahan, Lauren Ponthieux, Abby Trahan, Laurie Lee, Beth Trahan, Ana Bordelon, Hallie Rivera, Shawnie Perero, Alexandra Frederick and Zachary Trahan and numerous great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hayward Trahan and her brother, Kenneth “Pecou” Delcambre.
A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre with Fr.Buddy Breaux officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church from 9:00 am until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am.
Beverly will be laid to rest following the mass at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.
