DELCAMBRE – Graveside services will be conducted for Cynthia Bourque Duhon, age 66, at 11:30 am on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum in Delcambre. Fr. Buddy Breaux will officiate.
A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Duhon passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on January 6, 1954 to the late John Clifford Bourque and Rosie Bourque, Cynthia was one of seven children. Cynthia, better known as “C.B” and “Aunt-Bee”, was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked playing bingo, going to the casino, and playing the lotto. Cynthia loved being outdoors and in the sunshine. She could often be found tending to her yard or mowing the grass. Cynthia was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her mother, Rosie T.L. Bourque of New Iberia, daughter, Shondell M. Bourque of New Iberia; sister, Roxann B. Rodrigue and husband Davis of Delcambre; brothers, Richard S. Bourque and Patches J. Bourque both of New Iberia; grandchildren, Tre Bourque, Keallie Bourque, Sonja Bourque, Blake Bourque, Joshua Segura; four great grandchildren, Loretta Landry, Dakota Broussard, Miles J. Bourque, Kaiden M. Bourque, and Audrey R. Bourque; sisters-in-law, Jena Bourque Renard, Vonnie Renard, and Tina Sons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her father, John C. Bourque, Sr.; brothers, John C. Bourque, Jr. and Carl J. Bourque; sister, Sonja Rita Bourque; and daughter, Elizabeth “Lee-Lee” Segura.
Pallbearer will be Tre Bourque, Keallie Bourque, Sonja Bourque, Blake Bourque, Joshua Segura, Starlet Rodrigue, and Antonio Rodrigue.
