Elaine was known for her love of family and her joyful spirit. She found great pleasure in playing cards, especially pokeno, with her cherished sister-in-law and cousins, creating countless memories over the years. Her passion for reading was evident throughout her life, as she immersed herself in books that enriched her understanding and brought her joy.
Elaine is survived by her loving children: Susan Faciane, Roxann Brinkhause, and Michael LeBlanc; her brother Carrol Dugas; and her grandchildren: Sara Gary (Ross), Kayla Boudreaux (Chad), and Chaz LeBlanc (Amber).
In addition to her immediate family, Elaine leaves behind a legacy cherished by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, who will continue to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of over fifty years, Carroll F. LeBlanc, and her parents, Charlie and Annie Dugas.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM, with a rosary to be prayed at 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Buddy Breaux. Elaine will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband in the church mausoleum.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Logan Gary, Ross Gary, Dalen LeBlanc, Chad Boudreaux, Chaz LeBlanc, and Daniel Powers.
Elaine Dugas LeBlanc will be remembered for her kindness, her love of family, and her unwavering faith. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
