My deepest condolences to all of the Langham family! What an incredible man Mr. John was! I will always remember the support he gave to Delcambre High School. A man who earned respect from his children and grandchildren because of his amazing discipline in everything he did! He had definitely left a mark to the community of Delcambre and to Our Lady of the Lake Church! Rest In Peace Mr. John, you have definitely earned your wings!

He was someone very dear to my heart. He made me fall in love with the navy uniforms the first time I saw his ship come in to port on Valentine’s Day. I was 10 years old and i’ll never forget how proud I was of my Uncle John. He saw me through a child hood, adulthood and my wedding and the birth of my 3 children. He fed me almost every night. Put up with my daily visits and my 2 boys. Never complained or asked that we stay home. He was a gardener, he raised cows and chickens in the “cow country”, fished when we camped. Loaded the boat up with as many kids as possible. We laughed with him many many times. He was like a father to me. I loved him like he was my dad and he will be sorely missed.
Love you Uncle John. Tell everyone in Heaven hi for us especially Jeanne Claire and Grandma Jeanne. Rest In Peace. Love you. Catherine
