Justin Michael Smith

DELCAMBRE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Justin Michael, Smith, age 26, at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Voorhies will be the celebrant for the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native of Erath and resident of Maurice, Justin passed away at 11:25 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at St. Luke Episcopal Hospital in Houston.

Justin was a very outgoing young man who had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed his work and being around people and his greatest joy were his children.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Justin is survived by his parents, David and Denise Babin Smith of Maurice; one son, Jaden David Smith; one daughter, Jacie Danielle Smith both of Abbeville; two brothers, Johnathon Paul Smith and Jacob David Smith both of Maurice; paternal grandparents, Collin and Merza Tabor Smith and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Floris Babin all of Erath; paternal aunts and uncles, Betty Smith Romero and husband Kirt; godmother Debbie Smith; Tracy Smith Floris and husband Timmy and Kelly Smith; Maternal aunts and uncles, godmother, Angela Babin Spivey; Ronnie Babin and wife Rita Duhon Babin and Scotty Babin and his wife Ethel Lynn Romero. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Henley, Shawn Dugas, Jacob Bulliard, Ryan Babin, Bobby Spivey and Alwin Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Smith and Johnathon Smith.
