

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Lillie Mae Romero, the former Lillie Hebert, age 91, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the service time on Saturday May 9, 2015 with a Rosary at 1:30 pm.
A native of Youngsville and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Romero passed away at 12:01 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Mrs. Romero, known by many as Lemon, was a member of the St. Anne Altar Society for over 15 years and a member of the Golden Age Club. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Lillie Mae loved spending time with her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all those she knew and loved.
She is survived by her sons, Rufus Romero and wife Norma, Daniel Romero and wife Debra, and Murphy Romero and wife Mildred; son-in-law, Orien LeBlanc and wife Diane; daughter, Merline Moore and husband Glen; sister, Velta Pommier; grandchildren, Charmaine Romero, Amanda Pacetti, Burton LeBlanc, Orien LeBlanc, II., Marie Landry, and Cody Tucker; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over twenty-five years, Eloi Romero; parents, Ulger and Oceana Broussard Hebert; daughter, Lucy LeBlanc; grandchildren, Angela LeBlanc and Charles Moore; sister, Laura LeBlanc, and brothers, Thear Hebert and Gerald Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Chris Pacetti, Burton LeBlanc, Orien LeBlanc, II, Roy Landry, Zackary Lafosse, and Aarien Marceaux.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gage Pacetti, Luke Pacetti, Tyler Landry, and Mel Romero.
