Loraine LeBlanc Duhon

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Raymond J. Duhon, the former Loraine “Sis” LeBlanc, age 74, at 2:30 pm Friday, October 7, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Gregory Chauvin officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum in New Iberia.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm on Thursday until service time on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday.

A native of Abbeville and resident of Erath, Mrs. Duhon passed away at 4:18am on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. Duhon is survived by her husband Raymond J. Duhon of Erath; three sons, Kim LeBlanc and wife Belinda of Delcambre; Walter LeBlanc and his wife Lori of Coteau and Keith LeBlanc and wife Elena of New Iberia; three daughters, Suzette Schexnaider and husband Terry of Erath; Vonda Roberts and husband Freddie of Coteau and Rosa Mary Touchard and husband Clark of Delcambre; eleven grandchildren, Rosalyn Landry, Brandon LeBlanc, Jaci LeBlanc, Jennifer Voisin, Danielle Touchard, Joshua LeBlanc, Jordan LeBlanc, Erica Duhon, Heidi Horton, Jonathan LeBlanc and Jillian LeBlanc and two great grandchildren, Reid Voisin and Levi Landry. She is also survived by four brothers, Reles LeBlanc, Eldridge LeBlanc and Arnold LeBlanc all of Delcambre and Orien LeBlanc of Akron, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delino and Celima Comeaux LeBlanc; daughter, Anita LeBlanc and two brothers, Dorence LeBlanc and Reynold LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Kim LeBlanc, Walter LeBlanc, Keith LeBlanc, Brandon LeBlanc, Ross Landry, Clark Touchard and Jonathan LeBlanc. Edrick LeBlanc will be an honorary pallbearer.
