Lorraine was born on March 3, 1936, in Bolivar, Texas, to the late Clifton Rodriguez and Dilta Vincent Love.
Lorraine was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent an incredible 55 years with Gulf Coast Bank. Her career was something she truly loved and took great pride in. Her work at Gulf Coast Bank was an important part of her life, and she was incredibly proud of all that she accomplished throughout her many years there. She was one of the three original employees of Gulf Coast Bank and she spent more than 5 decades helping to build a community that would out live her. Her work was a very important part of her life and legacy.
Throughout her life, Lorraine also enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to see many places around the world. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf and was a very social person who loved spending time with others. Above all, Lorraine cherished her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a very special place in her heart and were a tremendous source of pride and happiness throughout her life.
Those left to cherish Lorraine’s memory include her four daughters, Glenda LeBlanc, Sharon LeBlanc Perrin (Brent), Karen LeBlanc Latiolais (Chris), and Diane LeBlanc Huval (Darrel); along with her nine grandchildren, Eric Perrin, Danielle Chisler, Lauren Tinnin, Megan Bartner, Amy Perrin Bernhard, Dillon Huval, Daniel Baker, and Derek Huval; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland LeBlanc; her former husband, Felix Saunier; her parents, Chester and Dilta Vincent Love; her grandson, Donald Meyers; and her siblings, Janice Dore and Clifford Rodriguez.
Lorraine lived a full life filled with family, friendship, hard work, and adventure. Whether she was traveling somewhere new, enjoying a game of tennis or golf, visiting with friends, or spending time with her family, she embraced the things that brought her happiness. She will be remembered for the life she lived, the memories she made, and the love she shared with those closest to her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Lorraine on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre with Fr. Buddy Breaux officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the service time. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am with a eulogy to follow.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Perrin, Daniel Baker, Dillon Huval, Derek Huval, Chris Latiolais, and Brent Perrin. Darrel Huval will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
