Mervin James LeBlanc

Delcambre – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Mervin James LeBlanc, age 79, at Evangeline Funeral Home in Delcambre at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 15, 2012. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

A native of Delcambre and resident of Abbeville, Mr. LeBlanc passed away at 6:25 am on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at East Ridge Nursing Home.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Etta Balsamo of Abbeville, Hazel Owen of Corsicana, Texas; nephews, Ronald Guidry, Patrick Guidry, John Guidry, Burton Guidry, Stanley Balsamo, Harry Owen, John Owen; nieces, Mattie Babin, Terry Weekly, Phyllis Balsamo Stone, Maxine LeMaire, Beverly Leger, Joanie Teel and Kathy Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia McNamare LeBlanc; parents, John and Lydia LeBlanc; sisters, Mavely Guidry Lecompte, Anna Belle Waguespack; nephews Wade Lirette and David Balsamo.
