Phillip was born on February 18, 1962 to the late Alvin and Janet T. Thibodeaux in Erath, LA and was one of four children to that union. He was raised in a family that enjoyed the beauty of their surroundings and took advantage of its resources. Hunting and fishing were a few of his favorite pastimes, but his absolute best times were spent at Ozille. It is in those waters that Phillip’s earthly remains will forever lay in peace. We will miss him dearly, but rejoice in knowing that he is resting. Until we meet again.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lacey T. Desormeaux and husband Jeremiah; two grandchildren, Kade Desromeaux and Averi Desormeaux; two sisters, Shelley Migues and husband Johnny and Mary Thibodeaux and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Eric Thibodeaux.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Buddy Breaux will officiate.
