Rosabelle Lopez Toups

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Renes Toups, the former Rosabelle Lopez, age 88, at 11:00 am Friday, January 10, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday until service time.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Toups passed away at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne J. Toups and wife Jackie of Delcamre and Tommy L. Toups and wife Frances of Erath; three grandsons, Barret Toups and wife Cara, Eric toups and wife Mary and Ryan Toups and wife Andrea’; four great grandchildren, Hannah Toups, Emma Grace Toups, Coy Toups and Cameron Toups; one brother, Felix Lopez and wife Bernice of Delcambre; two sisters, Yvonne L. Hebert and husband Luther of Abbeville and Lucy L. Trahan of Delcambre.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Renes “Beb” Toups; parents, Albert Lopez and Nolia Mayard Lopez; two brothers, Maxie Lopez and Johnny Lopez and one sister, Zula L. Frederick.

Pallbearers will be Barret Toups, Eric Toups and Ryan Toups, Clint Hebert, Mickey Hebert and Blaine Lopez.

The family would like to express their sincere apprectionn to the Staff of Eastridge Nursing Home and Abbeville General Hospital.
