Sandra LeBlanc Pitre

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Sandra Pitre, the former Sandra LeBlanc, age 64, at 2:00 pm Friday, June 5, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum in Delcambre.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday until service time.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Pitre passed away at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was a devoted catholic and cherished her family dearly. She touched many lives and was known for her caring heart. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bryan Pitre, Sr.; children, Bryan Pitre, Jr. and wife Janet and Stacie Pommier and husband Carl; grandsons, Austin Sonnier and Adam Pitre; brothers, Mickel LeBlanc, Sr. and wife Linda, Marty Leblanc and wife Nena, Marcus LeBlanc and wife Francelle, and Shane LeBlanc and wife Natasha; sisters, Adley Renard and husband Red and Darlene Bourque and husband Ray Jr.; sister-in-law, Ruth Pitre; step-mom, Cheryl LeBlanc; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Olite G. LeBlanc; in-laws, Wilbert and Hilda B. Pitre; brother-in-law, David Pitre, Sr.; nephew, David Pitre, Jr., and godchild, Damon Bourque.

Pallbearers will be Mickel LeBlanc, Sr., Marty LeBlanc, Marcus LeBlanc, Shane LeBlanc, Austin Sonnier, and Adam Pitre.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Pommier and Scott Provost.
