Therese Hebert Delcambre Sandoz

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Therese Hebert Delcambre Sandoz, age 82, at 11:00 am Monday, September 24, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Reader will be Ellen Thomas. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native of Prairie Greig and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Sandoz passed away at 9:30 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at New Iberia Manor North.

Mrs. Sandoz was a cook for Iberia Parish School Board and Erath Hospital. She had a great sense of humor, loved to dance and lived for her family. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Melissa D. Desormeaux and husband Kent and Carl Delcambre; grandchildren, Kenneth P. Barras and Cy Desormeaux; great grandchildren, Dylan Barras and Alex Barras and her niece Lisa Bourque who lovingly helped take care of her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Odrey and Cecile Dugas Hebert; four brothers, Abel Hebert, Presley Hebert, J.P. Hebert and Olton Hebert and three sisters, Elta H. Oliva, Gladys H. Blanchard and Rita H. Harrington.

Pallbearers will be Kent Desormeaux, Kenneth P. Barras, Gaylon Hebert, Boyd Oliva, Barry Delcambre and Dylan Barras.
