Just thinking about you Barry and the times we shared.  We both got hired together at LBTSPD as young officers by Chief Robbie... Fun times. You left for FLPD and I got NLPD yet we stayed in touch all those years later. Still recall the Orlando weekend or the Oktoberfest in West Palm... the Ferret & the Weasel.. I damn sure wish you didn’t go over the bridge buddy, but until we meet again RIP...

The last 20 something years you brought so much to our Cougar club. You were there at the beginning. Always contributing your advice and volunteering above and beyond. Thanks for all the laughs. You leave a hole in many hearts as we loved you immeasurably. Drive on my dear friend we will be missing you always. R.i.p. Barry.

This took me by surprise.  Barry was a great cop and a better "car" guy.  Had so much fun on the Hot Rod Power Tour many years ago.  RIP, Barry Cougar Margolis.

carol, you dont know me but my name is dave perry. barry and i worked on the mid-nite shift back in the 80s. he was a great cop and a better friend. i have too many stories to tell of which cant be put to words. if there is a police dept in heaven barry will be the chief. It's truely hard to find the words when you hear of the passing of one Brother let alone two. In the same week. Barry Margolis and Gary Daughenbaugh. God Bless you both. Rest in peace. 

We are so sorry to read about Barry. We know he was your soulmate and seemed so perfect for you. Our thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.

Back in 1997 when forming a Cougar car club yours was the very first response letter of interest. You were there with Carol every step of the way and a finer person with helping and building could never exist. But the person you were... The personality and wit...miss you forever and drive all the highways in Heaven. An honor to have known you.

I am so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I have so many good memories of working with him at FLPD.  Love you "Bubba". RIP

You were truly one of a kind. I'm grateful for knowing you. We had some great times together that I will remember all of my life. You will be missed by so many. Thanks for the ride. RIP Barry.

Twenty years just wasn't enough. Thank you, Barry, for being one of the first Cougar guys we encountered back then and welcoming us into the Sunshine State Cougar Club. It was such a great ride, wasn't it? I enjoyed working with you on your art projects for your shows. And spending time with you and Carol. It just won't be the same without you. Phil and I were blessed to be able to call you "friend."

I had the pleasure of working w/Barry when he was first hired oh so way back when, or so it feels. Always a good guy. My  sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Barry.  

So sorry to learn of Barry's passing. One of the BEST guys, great cop with a wonderful sense of humor. From his M&M days til vice, always a smile. Remembered fondly by Terry & Steve.
