Betsy Meltzer

Born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 11, 1943. Betsy would have celebrated her 62nd wedding anniversary this year with her late husband, Marshal.

A talented athlete in her youth, Betsy competed professionally in roller skating, handball, and roller derby. Before moving to North Palm Beach, FL, she worked in medical billing at a podiatry office in Queens, New York. In Florida, she dedicated approximately 40 years to Dr. Sapenoff and Harris, retiring in 2023 to prioritize her health and spend time with loved ones.

Betsy cherished time with family and close friends, enjoyed exercise, and had a passion for helping others. She was a devoted mother to Mark (Kelly), Lisa (Anthony), and Rick (Patsi), a loving grandmother to Madison, Colby, Larson, Brody, Nick, and Josh, and a dear sister to Murray.

Funeral services will be held at Riverside Stanetsky, 7205 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33446, on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 9:30 am, followed by committal services at 10:45 am at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473.
